Job Requisition ID: 42047
This is a Senior Manager opportunity in Canberra for an engineering leader who can bring together client growth, complex delivery and emerging AI capability in meaningful public sector work.
What will your typical day look like?
You will lead major engineering and transformation engagements from pursuit through to delivery, helping clients solve complex challenges with practical, scalable solutions. That could mean shaping new opportunities, guiding delivery teams through high-stakes programs, and ensuring the work lands commercially, technically and operationally.
A big part of the role is building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across Government and Public Services. Your advice will help clients navigate transformation with confidence, particularly where AI-enabled and agentic approaches are creating new possibilities for service delivery, decision-making and operational performance.
Alongside client work, you will help grow the practice itself. That includes contributing to propositions, developing capability, supporting go-to-market activity and helping define how Deloitte's engineering offering continues to evolve in a fast-moving market.
Deloitte's Engineering team in Government and Public Services works with public sector clients on large-scale transformation, technology delivery and complex change. The team brings together engineering depth, strategic thinking and delivery leadership to help government organisations modernise services, improve outcomes and respond to shifting community and policy needs - with growing focus on AI-enabled and agentic engineering opportunities.
