What’s the role?

This is a Senior Manager opportunity within Enterprise Records Management and Privacy, based in Sydney, NSW. It is a 12-month secondment role, offering full time work with flexibility to support how you do your best work.

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of strategic ERMP initiatives that help protect customer trust and strengthen Westpac’s risk and control environment. You’ll work across a broad and complex stakeholder group, coordinating activity, managing interdependencies and helping keep delivery on track.

You’ll bring a practical, solutions focused mindset, applying sound judgement and structured thinking to navigate challenges in a highly regulated environment. Clear communication, thoughtful problem solving and a strong delivery discipline will be key as you help progress priorities across the ERMP portfolio.

You’ll collaborate closely with ERMP colleagues, business partners and delivery teams, building trusted relationships and contributing to outcomes that improve control effectiveness, delivery confidence and enterprise risk management.

This role is part of our Mob Way program, a culturally grounded pathway unlocking senior opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders.

What do I need?

  • Experience delivering projects, change or initiatives within risk, compliance, privacy, records management or similar regulated environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence, collaborate and deliver through others
  • Confidence working with complex information and large data sets to support insights, prioritisation and decisions
  • Sound risk-based judgement and experience managing delivery risks, issues and dependencies
  • Familiarity with Westpac systems such as Alfabet and Holocentric is preferred
