Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced leader to serve as Senior Manager, Corporate Services, Global Travel Management, responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive global managed travel program across all locations. This role oversees day-to-day travel operations, manages vendor relationships, develops and manages reporting, ensures compliance to policy, and proactively addresses travel risk management. The position will lead and develop a team to include oversight of corporate cards within Corporate Services under the Business Travel, Corporate Card and Expense segment. The ideal candidate combines operational rigor, data-driven execution, and risk-based decision-making with strong situational judgment. Success in this role requires responsiveness, accountability, and emotional intelligence to deliver exceptional client service. Experience in financial, advisory, or technological environments is preferred.


The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Travel Operations Management

  • Oversee day to day global travel operations

  • Ensure data feeds between Kroll and Vendor systems are functional and correct

  • Manage BTA accounts including proper usage and monthly reconciliation

  • Liaise with travel arrangers and vendor agent teams to ensure service levels are met/exceeded

  • Prepare and analyze travel data to monitor KPIs

  • Evaluate new technologies to improve traveler experience and increase program efficiency

  • Participate in educational opportunities & professional organizations in the travel field

  • Stay informed about travel industry trends and best practices

Vendor and Supplier Management

  • Negotiate contracts and ensure SLAs are met

  • Monitor vendor performance

  • Identify, evaluate and manage relationships to ensure best in class offering

  • Apply situational triage and data-driven decision-making for complex vendor needs.

Travel Risk Management & ESG

  • Develop and maintain travel risk management program in collaboration with Security, Legal and People teams

  • Monitor global events and advisories

  • Ensure compliance with duty of care

  • Monitor and provide reporting to ensure firm is meeting ESG objectives

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as escalation point and trusted facilitator for travel operations

  • Partner with internal stakeholders including Business Units, Legal, Technology, Risk Management, People, Finance, and Operations—to understand travel related requirements and ensure service quality and efficiency

  • Support meetings on an as needed basis

  • Cross train with Expense team for redundancy and coverage across Business Travel, Corporate Card and Expense

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.

  • Define and maintain vendor governance policies and standards.

  • Conduct periodic risk assessments of vendor relationships and implement mitigation plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and eight to twelve years of experience in hospitality or travel operations

  • Ability to work and collaborate during Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) hours to align with global stakeholders and business needs

  • Proven ability to drive process adoption and operational change

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience partnering with finance, legal, people and risk teams

  • People management experience with global leadership

  • Background in travel or hospitality

  • Proficient in vendor negotiations and contracting

  • Demonstrated success in building relationships with influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset with expertise in interpreting complex data for informed decisions.

  • Highly proactive and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and drive results independently

  • Assertive, accountable, dependable, collaborative and values-driven approach to work

  • Adaptive, resilience, and maintains strategic perspective under pressure
