& Summary

At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

Those in internal audit at PwC help build, optimise and deliver end-to-end internal audit services to clients in all industries. This includes IA function setup and transformation, co-sourcing, outsourcing and managed services, using AI and other risk technology and delivery models. IA capabilities are combined with other industry and technical expertise, in areas like cyber, forensics and compliance, to address the full spectrum of risks. This helps organisations to harness the power of IA to help the organisation protect value and navigate disruption, and obtain confidence to take risks to power growth.

About the role:

The main purpose of the Senior Manager role is to design and develop analytical solutions,establishand maintain sound client relationships, manage the internal audit transformation and digitization team, including the coaching and development of staffon siteAbilityto travel therefore is essential.

Essential skills and experience:

7years’ experience in internal audit

Key Knowledge & Skills:

•Experience in external consulting

• Experience indata-driven audits, AIandor IT Audit

• Well-developed writing skills

• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans

• Strong presentation skills – written and verbal

Industry experience:

Experience in the following industries would be beneficial:

• Agriculture

• Financial services

• Consumer markets specifically Retail and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods

Required qualifications:

• Honours inBCommInternal Audit/ B Tech degree in Internal Audit/ Honours inBCommAccounting

• Qualification in CA(SA) or CIA or CISA

Desirable skills or attributes:

• Ability to perform research;

• Analytical skills;

• An assurance risk management mindset;

• Attention to detail;

• Ability to work both as part of a team, and independently;

• Ability to work under pressure, toprioritiseand to meet deadlines;

• Abilityto code functional prototypes, review code and develop marketing materials is an advantage
