
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
In addition, the individual will collaborate with international experts to support process‑development activities, contribute new process‑improvement strategies, and provide technical support for customer quality issues related to thermoelectric devices and components, including on‑site support at customer facilities when required.
Education & Experience
12+ years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing company; Typically requires 7+ years managerial/leadership experience in one or more of:
• Advanced packaging / module assembly / power electronics / thermoelectrics
• Semiconductor backend/OSAT (solder attach, wire bonding, molding/underfill)
• Surface treatment & plating (electroless/electrolytic Ni, Ni P, Ni/Au, Ag, Sn; anodizing)
• Metallized ceramic substrates (Al₂O₃, AlN, BeO; DBC/AMB/Mo Mn)
• Wet chemical/cleaning (deionized rinse, ionic contamination, NVR, plasma/UV ozone)
• Wafer processes (surface prep, thin films, seed/plate, CMP interactions)
• Polymers for electronics (epoxy, underfill, encapsulants, adhesives; DOE on cure/voiding)
• TIMs and heat transfer optimization (pads/grease/PCM films; ASTM D5470 or equivalent)
• Demonstrated ability of leading projects, training and coaching people, achieving goals under resource constraints.
• Strong knowledge and experience in problem solving and process improvement, using statistical analysis tools
