We are now seeking a Senior Managed Runtime Compiler Engineer with strong performance engineering, compiler, virtual machine, interpreter, and runtime experience to join our Compiler Team. We craft compiler and runtime technology that realize the potential of NVIDIA's CPUs built for the world's largest data centers: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/data-center/vera-cpu/. These platforms power AI, HPC, cloud, and other demanding workloads worldwide.
In this role, you will improve execution efficiency across interpreters, JIT and AOT compilers, virtual machines, runtimes, libraries, and application stacks. The initial focus is CPU Agentic workflows and managed languages such as Python and Node.js; over time, work may span JDK, CPython, JavaScript/V8, or other VM and compiler efforts.
You will tackle hard engineering problems alongside a team spanning compilers, runtimes, programming languages, CPU architecture, and systems software. Our compiler organisation shapes performance on every CPU, GPU, DPU, and SoC that NVIDIA builds.
