Senior Maintenance Technician

Department: Senior Maintenance Technician

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Nationwide

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 / hour

**SKILLBRIDGE/UNPAID INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY**

The Senior Maintenance Technicians keep Walmart facilities safe, efficient, and ready by doing hands on repairs and preventive maintenance. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and food equipment systems, using your skills and judgment to solve issues independently across assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and food service
    equipment
  • Troubleshoot issues across building systems to ensure safety, functionality, and operational continuity
  • Operate company vehicle to support multiple store locations within assigned territory
  • Complete work orders, document repairs, and follow established maintenance schedules
  • Maintain tools and equipment while adhering to safety and compliance standards
  • Support additional facility needs as assigned, including minor construction or repair projects

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 4-6 years of experience in mechanical and electrical systems
  • Skilled at diagnosing issues, troubleshooting systems, and completing repairs independently
  • Takes pride in craftsmanship, safety, and doing the job right the first time
  • Able to read schematics, follow preventive maintenance schedules, and document completed work
  • Have a driver’s license or willing to get one, plus required certifications
