Senior Maintenance Technician – Louisville, KY

Brookside Properties is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to support a 300-unit apartment community in Louisville, KY. This is a hands-on, senior-level role focused on advanced repairs, make-readies, and supporting overall property maintenance operations.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience required
• High School Diploma or GED
• EPA Certification required (Type II or Universal)
• Pool maintenance experience preferred
• Strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repair skills
• Experience supporting turns, work orders, and preventive maintenance
• Ability to work independently and assist junior technicians when needed
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and emergency response

Key Responsibilities

• Complete advanced maintenance repairs and service requests
• Support unit turns and make-ready work for new residents
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building system issues
• Assist in maintaining property safety, compliance, and curb appeal standards
• Support preventive maintenance programs and inspections
• Assist with pool maintenance (preferred skill set)
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed
• Help ensure efficient daily operations of a 300-unit community
