GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for performing advanced maintenance, repair, and fabrication tasks, including welding and soldering, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while also performing structural repairs and metalwork. It also serves as a key resource for complex maintenance projects and provides guidance to junior technicians.
This position works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by two (2) years of experience in the repair, construction, or maintenance of equipment and/or facilities; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical demands refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement.
