Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Maintenance Technician.

Job Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia

This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience different exciting local cultures in this historical state.

What you will be doing:

• Prepare samples, materials, and tools for engineering builds.
• Collect experiment data to improve processes and check equipment performance.
• Support engineers with daily process checks and monitoring.
• Run engineering simulations, trials, and experiment tests.
• Operate machines according to SOPs to ensure smooth production.
• Perform basic root cause checks and assist with engineering analysis.
• Conduct process test runs to find improvement opportunities.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to engineering teams.
• Work with production and maintenance to solve process issues.
• Support yield improvement projects and customer complaint evaluations.

What you will bring along:

• Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing/semiconductor or process‑related work.
• Hands‑on experience with production equipment, process setups, or engineering trials in wire bond and die attach process.
• Basic troubleshooting and root cause skills.
• Familiar with data collection, measurement tools, and simple analysis.
• Computer proficiency and machine die attach and wire bond hands on.
• Broad technical knowledge and strong leadership skills.
• Understanding semiconductor manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Learning mindset to develop new skills, knowledge and expertise.
• Responsible, reliable, and proactive in solving process issues.
• Willing to support overtime for any urgent engineering builds if needed.
