You will promote consistency and quality through standardised processes, robust engineering governance and the effective application of technical expertise.Using defect trend analysis, maintenance data and material state insights, you will help improve work package accuracy, optimise demand planning and strengthen future forecasting. You will also drive continuous improvement by refining processes, enhancing data integrity and contributing to the development of maintenance planning toolsets, helping the business meet the evolving needs of both current and future customersCore Duties:Produce accurate, optimised maintenance work packages in MAXIMO using approved MMS data and technical documentation.Ensure work packages comply with maintenance policy, classification rules, statutory requirements and engineering governance through Gate Reviews and PDRLs.Analyse resource demand, task duration, maintenance history, costs and defect trends to improve forecasting and optimise demand planningCollaborate with Maintenance Engineers, Platform Teams, Ship Delivery, Supply Chain and Material State communities to align work packages and demand plans.Use automation and digital planning tools to improve scheduling, task sequencing, long-cast forecasting and early identification of programme risks.Monitor released work packages, ensuring safe completion, accurate UMMS/MAXIMO recording and effective close-out, with lessons applied to future planning.Support maintenance optimisation through performance analysis, failure data assessment, root cause analysis and Learning from Experience.Identify and resolve data-quality issues, contribute to toolset testing and fault-finding, and support digital improvements that enhance the end-user experience.Provide technical guidance and SME support, promote standardised planning practices, monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement for existing and future customersEssential Skills:You’ll hold ONC, HNC, HND or Degree‑level education in an Engineering discipline, or have equivalent relevant working experienceYou’ll have specialist engineering knowledge and experience in a relevant subject area (Mechanical or Electrical)You’ll have a working knowledge of the Engineering LifecycleYou’ll be aware of and adhere to statutory regulations, including Information Systems, Safety, Health & Environment, and Security requirementsYou’ll have experience using Maintenance Management Systems including knowledge of problem solving and Root Cause Analysis techniquesThe Maintenance Management team:As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for producing optimised work packages using scheduled information extracted from the Maintenance Management System and undertaking detailed root cause analysis of material state and failure trends, to enable work packages to be optimised. The role will provide you with the opportunity to work with various stakeholders both internally and externally.
