ABOUT THE POSITION

• Agent Architectures & Smart Systems
  
  Design and develop intelligent agents using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and
  
  similar.
  
  Integrate tools via Model-Context-Protocol (MCP)—bonus if you’ve worked with DCC tools such
  
  as Blender, Maya, or Unreal.
  
  Tackle advanced agent topics: context engineering, memory, planning, and model routing
  
  strategy.
  
  Collaborate with game and art teams to connect AI agents with production pipelines.
• Generative 2D/3D Content
  
  Build, customize, and maintain Gen2D/Gen3D/video generation workflows (ComfyUI or similar).
  
  Train and deploy generative models (e.g., Stable Diffusion, Qwen).
  
  Integrate generative workflows with DCC and creative tools.
• Delivering Production-Quality Systems
  
  A core part of your role will be taking ideas, prototypes, or research code and turning them into
  
  reliable, maintainable, and production-ready systems.
  
  Write clean, well-documented code that follows best practices.
  
  Work with other engineers and artists to continuously strengthen our deployed ML solutions.

• Preferred Tech Stack/Tools
  
  (Not required, but helpful if you have experience with any of the following)
  
  AWS, SQL (especially for retrieval-augmented generation/RAG), FastAPI, ComfyUI, GitLab.
  
  Knowledge of game development, art creation, or digital content production pipelines.

• What Will Help You Stand Out
  
  Experience building agent architectures and/or generative workflows and bringing them to
  
  production is strongly preferred.
  
  Familiarity with tool integration protocols (like MCP) and DCC environments (Blender, Maya, Unreal,
  
  etc.).
  
  Interest or experience in gaming, art creation, or creative tech pipelines.
  
  Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative approach, and eagerness to learn new technologies

About Our Team
The award-winning Virtuos Shanghai studio was founded in late 2004, the first of six game development studios located internationally and the former headquarters of the group before its relocation to Singapore in 2018.
Staffed by a multicultural group of talents, the studio specializes in providing full-stack game development and co-development services, including technical support for art and engineering. Virtuos Shanghai is also the base of operations for multiple Art teams working on the world’s top triple-A projects.
