We are looking for a Senior Logistics Engineer to lead the integration of logistics processes across SAP, ERP systems, and internal portals. This is a key role focused on identifying gaps, driving process improvements, and ensuring efficient end-to-end logistics of POS terminals (payment devices). You will optimize workflows, implement automation, and align logistics systems with business objectives, while supporting a high-performing logistics team.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities (Key Focus)

  • Leading and developing a small, motivated logistics team
  • Participate and lead the logistics team to achieve internal SLA’s on terminal delivery, quality and support
  • Coordinate and align with the commercial & product teams to support key partners and pipeline execution
  • Develop and report relevant functional KPIs and reporting
  • Analyze workflows, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and i mplement process improvements driving automation and operational effectiveness
  • Act as the ERP/SAP point of contact for logistics-related process enhancements.
  • Oversee and participate in the end-to-end logistics lifecycle of POS terminals with a focus on system-supported optimization
  • Proactively lead change initiatives to improve cross-functional collaboration and process efficiency.

Other Responsibilities (Secondary / Supportive)

  • Partner with Product Management, Operations, Finance, and Sales to align logistics with business needs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, couriers, and service partners to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support audits.

Requirements

What you bring

Education & Experience

  • Completed training, previous professional experience or studies in the field of logistics, supply chain management.
  • 5+ years of logistics/supply chain experience, with ERP/SAP system integration responsibility.
  • Proven track record in process optimization, change management and team leadership

Technical & Process Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP (or logistics modules) and ERP–Portal integration.
  • Strong process mapping, workflow design, and gap analysis skills.
  • Experience with automation, reporting, and tracking tools in logistics/supply chain.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to bridge business and technical perspectives.
  • Strong change management skills; able to challenge the status quo and implement improvements.

Other

  • Familiarity with compliance and security requirements in logistics (e.g., PCI DSS).
  • Fluency in German and English is required; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
