  • Research, evaluate, and help implement new linguistic QA technologies, automation solutions, and AI-powered tools.
  • Mentor, coach, and support Localization Quality Managers and Associates, contributing to onboarding, training, performance reviews, and hiring decisions.
  • Establish best practices for terminology management, translation memories, style guides, query handling, and other linguistic assets.
  • Define account- and program-level translation memory governance strategies in collaboration with technology teams.
  • Oversee third-party reviews, LQA exchanges, external benchmarking, and related quality initiatives, using findings to inform vendor management and quality policies.
  • Review and improve memoQ project configurations, templates, workflows, and quality-related operational processes.
  • Ensure localization operations consistently align with established quality standards, governance models, and client-specific requirements.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
    • At least 5 years of experience in the localization industry, including substantial experience in linguistic quality assurance and CAT tools.
    • At least 3 years of leadership or management experience in quality-focused roles.
    • Proven experience leading cross-functional quality initiatives and managing large-scale or complex localization programs.
    • Advanced knowledge of LQA tools, methodologies, linguistic evaluation frameworks, and language asset management.
    • Experience supporting enterprise-level clients and delivering quality solutions for complex localization requirements.
    • Strong understanding of translation memory, terminology, style guide, and language asset governance.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation through process improvements, automation, AI, and technology-enabled workflows.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret quality data and translate findings into strategic actions.
    • Excellent coaching, mentoring, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities.
    • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex quality topics clearly.
    • Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Tech-savvy approach, with proficiency in MS Office and Adobe software and familiarity with localization technology.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive, structured, and creative approach to complex challenges.
    • Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage.

    • Benefits:

      • Fully remote position based in Brazil.
      • Opportunity to work with global clients and complex, enterprise-level localization programs.
      • Senior-level ownership of linguistic quality strategy, governance, and continuous improvement.
