This is a position that includes the receipt, review, and upload of all electronic documents related to the mortgage loan process to the Credit Union’s mortgage loan origination system, as well as facilitating MLO understanding of the electronic signature and documentation process. In this position, one is tasked with ensuring a smooth member experience and efficient gathering of vital information during the mortgage loan process.3
Responsibilities:
(10 %) Upload eSigned member documents and completed verifications into the appropriate loan imaging system
(10 %) Send email verification requests to members or employers as needed
(30 %) Key requests for verification of employment and/or income, tax transcripts or DocuSigned forms into third-party vendor sites.
(20 %) Return completed requests to lender or processor and act as a liaison with verifier to communicate additional information
(10 %) Advise requesting processors on best practices for navigating income verification.
(10 %) Answer in-bound and departmental phone calls
(10%) Maintain department tracking reports
Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
HS Diploma or GED
0-2 years relevant experience
Able to key data accurately and efficiently
Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
Associate or 2-year degree
Proficiency with MS Office
Minimum of two years of Credit Union experience preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Hybrid position – some in-office work required
Sitting for prolonged periods
Computer use for prolonged periods
Telephone use for prolonged periods
Must be able to type and answer telephone
Some office noise, (phones, typing, co-workers)
