About the Team & Business Line:

Your Role:

• 
  Responsible for the maintenance of syndicated and bilateral debt processing of lifecycle activities
• 
  Ensure accurate processing of daily loan transactions and credit events including, but not limited to, trade settlement, principal paydowns, drawdowns, contract rollovers, rate setting, PIK capitalization
• 
  Manage daily operational workflows and maintain oversight of asset servicing – ensuring completeness and accuracy of position, accrued interest and cash data in loans system and underlying accounting platform
• 
  Perform reconciliations of loan pars, accruals and cash between internal and external systems, investigating and commenting break items and resolving same within pre-agreed timeframes
• 
  Understand the role of Loan Services in generating reporting in support of NAV process and actively liaise with various internal departments to meet monthly/quarterly NAV deliverables
• 
  Act as point of contact for client queries/requests and drive resolution of issues relating to client accounts
• 
  Prepare various loan notices including, but not limited to, billing statements, maturity/rollover notices, repricing notices, borrowing notices, prepayment notices
• 
  Actively monitor bank accounts and reconcile against expected cash inflows and outflows
• 
  Generate deal summary documentation for individual transactions identifying deal-specific terms/nuances

About You:

• 
  Analytical, organized with ability to handle various responsibilities simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• 
  Hands-on and comfortable learning new applications and sourcing information from numerous systems
• 
  Experienced in maintaining a control environment and adhering to standard operation procedures
• 
  Flexible and comfortable adapting to fluid operational requirements and deliverables
• 
  Capable of communicating in a strong and professional manner with diverse internal and external stakeholders, as well as escalating issues to management in a timely manner
• 
  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within Loan Services
• 
  Experience of a range of debt product types including, but not limited to, syndicated (par and distressed), bilateral, direct lending originations, commercial real estate loans, total return swaps, letters of credit
• 
  Very strong Microsoft excel capabilities, with previous experience of ClearStructure Sentry loan system a benefit, but not essential
