Job Location: Mirador in Corpus Christi - Corpus Christi, TX 78414Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), with a mission to honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ’s love, does so in part by providing eight continuing-care retirement communities in Texas. MRC Mirador, located in Corpus Christi is seeking an individual to serve as a Senior Living Sales Counselor.
This position, a part of a three-person team for the community and reporting to the Marketing Director, will play a key role in efforts to cultivate, nurture, and close prospects for our independent living in a manner that bolsters our reputation in the community.
Specific job responsibilities include targeted outreach to individual prospects, general community outreach, planning and conducting marketing events, education of prospects regarding senior living options, careful follow-up with prospects, and detailed recordkeeping of sales activities. With outstanding training and support from MRC’s corporate marketing team, this position will also oversee move-ins, to ensure they occur seamlessly and provide the new resident with the best possible experience upon arrival at the Community.
Our preference for this role is a person who has previously demonstrated a track record of success in sales.   Knowledge of the unique needs of seniors is a plus.   Prior experience in senior living industries is helpful, but not required.  Good computer skills and the ability to establish a rapport with others is key.  Alignment with our mission is paramount.
