Job Description

An Atlanta-based boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support multiple attorneys in a busy litigation practice. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring daily attendance. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of civil litigation experience, strong knowledge of Georgia state and federal court procedures, and the ability to effectively manage a billable workload. Employment law experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, proofread, and format pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents
• E-file documents in Georgia state and federal courts
• Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and litigation timelines
• Assist with all phases of discovery, including document review and production
• Conduct legal and factual research
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Communicate with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and other parties
• Track time and consistently meet billable hour requirements

Qualifications

• 6+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience required
• Employment law experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures
• Excellent proofreading, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to independently manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines
• Experience working in a billable environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
