Senior Linux System Administrator
Location: Belgium (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced Linux professional with a passion for automation, infrastructure management, and continuous improvement? We are looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator to join a highly skilled infrastructure team responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise Linux environments.
This role combines hands-on system administration, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and platform engineering within a mission-critical environment.
Manage, maintain, and optimize Linux server environments
Develop and improve automated installation, configuration, and administration processes
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management solutions
Monitor system performance, availability, and security
Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes
Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives
Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and development teams
Support continuous improvement of server management processes and operational efficiency
Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator
Minimum 10 years of hands-on Linux administration experience (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu)
Strong system engineering knowledge of Linux-based enterprise environments
Minimum 10 years of experience with databases such as:
Experience with monitoring and observability platforms:
Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools:
Experience working with enterprise infrastructure solutions
Native-level Dutch proficiency (CEFR C2)
Experience with ITIL processes, particularly Change Management
Experience with Foreman or similar lifecycle management tools
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Knowledge of middleware, networking, security platforms, Active Directory, LDAP, and enterprise services
