Job Description

A high-growth consumer brand is seeking a Senior Lifecycle Manager to lead customer lifecycle marketing across email, SMS, CRM, and subscription retention. This role will own lifecycle strategy and execution, with a focus on improving retention, reducing churn, increasing LTV, and driving subscription growth.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with deep expertise in Klaviyo, customer segmentation, automated flows, and subscription-based DTC businesses. This person will partner closely with leadership to optimize the full customer journey from acquisition through retention, reactivation, and subscription expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle marketing strategy across email, SMS, and subscription retention
• Build and optimize automated lifecycle flows including welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, cart abandonment, and cancellation journeys
• Develop advanced customer segmentation strategies to improve engagement, retention, and conversion
• Lead testing initiatives across messaging, subscription offers, cancellation flows, and customer portal experiences
• Manage lifecycle strategy within platforms such as Klaviyo, Stay.ai, Skio, Recharge, or similar tools
• Monitor deliverability, list health, engagement metrics, and retention KPIs
• Analyze lifecycle and subscription data to identify optimization opportunities and improve performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support broader DTC growth initiative Increased retention, repeat purchase behavior, and customer lifetime value
• Improved lifecycle engagement and subscription performance
• Strong execution of automated flows and retention campaigns
• Clear reporting and scalable lifecycle infrastructure that supports long-term growth

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention marketing experience within a Shopify DTC brand
• Deep expertise in Klaviyo, segmentation, flow architecture, and deliverability
• Experience managing subscription programs and retention strategies
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using lifecycle data to drive decisions
• Proven success improving retention, churn reduction, and customer engagement
• Experience in high-growth DTC or CPG brands preferred; wellness or supplements experience is a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 base salary + bonus + benefits
