
An exciting opening is now available in the Whau Local Board for a Senior Library and Council Services Assistant
This is a permanent 30-hour role, with a variable roster, currently based at the New Lynn Hub
We are open seven days, so flexibility is required. You will also be required to work at the other libraries in the Whau Local Board (Blockhouse Bay & Avondale) as needed.
He angitūtanga: The opportunity
New Lynn Hub is a busy and fun community space that encompasses the Library and Community Centre. This is a great opportunity to build on the experience you have already gained in libraries or programming. In this role you can take part in large scale programming alongside the community centre team.
You will support the team to deliver outstanding customer service while also taking on senior duties within the team. This 30-hour role is vital for connecting our communities and whānau with services and programmes in the Whau Local Board libraries.

Band E, we are expecting to appoint the successful candidate at a salary of between $77 - $80k per annum, pro rata, depending on skills and experience.
