Responsibilities
Develop and implement the stakeholder engagement and public consultation plans to support the planning, approval and delivery of new railway and infrastructure projects
Build and maintain effective relationships with key external stakeholders, includingthe Legislative Council, District Councils, Rural Committees, local communities, non-government organisations and government departments, to facilitate project implementation and foster stakeholder support
Coordinate statutory processes, including scheme gazettal and objection resolution, and manage related stakeholder issues and risks to support project progress
Plan and manage stakeholder engagement programmes and communication activities to enhance public understanding, address stakeholder concerns and support the timely delivery of Capital Works projects
Requirements
Degree in Engineering / Marketing / Communication or a related discipline
A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience preferably in managing large-scale railway or infrastructure projects, of which 4 years should be in the management of public engagement programme
Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Sound experience in public consultation process, especially in managing New Territories rural issues
Good command of both wrriten and spoken English and Chinese with good presentation skill
Remarks
Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
