Job Description

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide expert legal advice and support across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. This role is critical to ensuring the company’s operations align with legal and regulatory requirements while mitigating risks and supporting strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel on contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements to protect the company’s interests.
• Manage legal disputes and collaborate with external counsel as needed.
• Advise senior management on legal matters related to business operations and strategic planning.
• Develop and maintain corporate policies ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Lead and mentor junior legal team members, fostering professional development.
• Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the company’s activities.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments to integrate legal perspectives into business decisions.

Requirements

• Law degree (JD or equivalent) with eligibility to practice law.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house or corporate legal environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial law, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance.
• Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior legal professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
