About the role

The Senior Legal Associate will play a key role within Syncron’s Legal team by providing end-to-end commercial contracting support for the Sales and Customer Success Management (CSM) organizations, primarily in Europe and Asia regions.

This role focuses primarily on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements with enterprise customers, prospects, and partners in the European and Asian market. The candidate will be expected to work closely with cross functional stakeholders, ensuring that Syncron’s contractual positions are effectively communicated, legally compliant, and aligned with internal policies and business objectives.

What would you do?

Commercial Contracting Support (Primary Focus – Europe and Asia Regions)

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements with prospects, customers, and partners, including:

  • Master Subscription Agreements (MSAs)

  • Order Forms

  • Statements of Work (SoWs)

  • Service-level exhibits

  • Partner / reseller agreements

  • NDAs and other commercial documents

Provide proactive legal support during the entire sales cycle — early stage prospecting, redlining, negotiation, and deal closure.

Support CSM teams with renewals, amendments, expansions, and renegotiations.

Educate Sales and CSM teams on contract structures, Syncron’s standard clauses, negotiation boundaries, and risk considerations.

Cross Functional Collaboration

Collaborate daily with Sales, CSM, Revenue Operations, Finance, InfoSec, and Product teams to facilitate timely contracting.

Clearly communicate contracting risks, commercial implications, and alternative clause wording to nonlegal stakeholders.


Contract Risk Assessment & Legal Advisory

Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and commercial risks (e.g., liability, indemnity, data protection, IP rights, governing law).
Ensure contracts comply with internal policies, company risk standards, and relevant laws and regulations.

Contract Administration & Process Improvement

Maintain accuracy of contract records and data within Syncron’s contract management systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement of global templates and playbooks.
Support development of negotiation guides, fallback positions, and process efficiencies for commercial contracting.

Who you are? / What we expect:

  • Law degree; bar admission (attorney-at-law or advocate).

  • 4+ years of legal experience in commercial contracting, with at least 2 years of experience in SaaS industry

  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with enterprise customers.

  • Ability to explain legal issues to business stakeholders in a clear, practical manner.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong business acumen and a proactive, solution oriented mindset.

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; German will be considered an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of contract law and corporate governance.
