Support and advise on the learning and professional development of the workforce. Implement and execute policies, processes, and training offerings.
Minimum requirements:
- Namibian citizenship;
- Valid driver's licence;
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Education, or a related field;
- Relevant qualification in Training, Facilitation, Learning & Development, Coaching, or Adult Education will be an advantage;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in financial services, learning and development, sales enablement, adviser training, or a related role;
- Sound knowledge of personal finance products, including life insurance, investments, retirement solutions, risk products, and related financial services offerings;
- Experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programmes and learning interventions;
- Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to analyse learner performance and provide meaningful coaching and developmental feedback;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms;
- Multilingual capability will be an advantage;
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Namibia;
- Strong organisational and planning skills;
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment;
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail; and
- Fluent in English.
Duties and responsibilities
- Facilitate onboarding, induction, and accreditation training programmes for newly appointed Financial Advisors and Broker Consultants;
- Deliver product, systems, compliance, sales process, and customer service training across the Personal Finance product portfolio;
- Conduct refresher, upskilling, and continuous professional development training for existing Financial Advisors and Broker Consultants;
- Present formal, informal, standardised, and customised learning interventions through classroom, virtual, and blended learning methodologies;
- Design, develop, review, adapt, and maintain training material, facilitator guides, learner manuals, presentations, assessments, and other learning resources;
- Translate complex product, technical, and regulatory information into practical and engaging learning content;
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Sales Management, Compliance, Operations, and other stakeholders to develop and update training content in line with business requirements;
- Support new product launches through the development and delivery of effective learning interventions;
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify knowledge, skills, and competency gaps within Personal Finance distribution channels;
- Conduct knowledge, skills, competency, and accreditation assessments for all learning interventions;
- Evaluate learner performance and monitor training outcomes against predefined competency standards;
- Provide structured coaching, guidance, and developmental support to Financial Advisors and Broker Consultants to improve performance and effectiveness;
- Compile and provide detailed feedback on trainee performance, strengths, development areas, and training outcomes to relevant managers and stakeholders;
- Identify opportunities for remedial training, coaching, and development interventions based on assessment results and performance trends;
- Analyse and report on the effectiveness, quality, and impact of learning interventions and recommend improvements where required;
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers, assessment results, learning reports, and other training-related documentation;
- Ensure all training interventions comply with applicable regulatory, compliance, governance, and company requirements;
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Sales Management, Broker Consultants, Financial Advisors, Product Specialists, and other key stakeholders;
- Stay abreast of industry developments, product changes, regulatory updates, and best practices within the financial services and learning and development environment;
- Take accountability for own service delivery, time management, task execution, and quality of output in line with company values
