The Enterprise Learning team drives business success by empowering all HD Supply associates with continuous learning and development opportunities. We deliver on this mission with a core portfolio of offerings, including Professional Development, Leadership Development, and New Associate Orientation. Core to this work is the Learning Facilitation Team, the group responsible for bringing these experiences to life. In dynamic in-person, virtual, and blended formats, they deliver engaging, hands-on sessions, ensure seamless program execution, and partner with our instructional designers to guarantee a consistently high-quality experience.

We’re looking for a Senior Learning Facilitator who excels at creating meaningful learner experiences, demonstrates strong facilitation presence and classroom management skills, and contributes to operational excellence across our delivery programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of learning facilitation experience delivering engaging sessions across in‑person, virtual, and blended formats, including for senior leaders.

• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse groups and adapt in real time.

• Expertise in applying adult learning principles to make complex content practical and memorable.

• Experience serving as delivery lead for key programs, managing end‑to‑end logistics and communications.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to plan and execute learning sessions with precision.

• Working knowledge of instructional design (e.g., ADDIE) and experience partnering with design teams for smooth content handoff and delivery.

Facilitate the delivery of instructor-led learning opportunities, both in-person and virtually. Provide input on the learning content design, development, and enhancement process.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Supports the knowledge, skills, and productivity of the organization's associates through the delivering of engaging instructor led training and virtual instructor led training, new hire instruction, and train-the-trainer sessions.
• Serves as a consultant in the design and development of learning content and resources.
• Uses needs assessment techniques to propose recommended learning delivery.
• Ensures the delivery of high-quality, effective, targeted instructor-led delivery.
• Personalizes content when appropriate and prepares for learning opportunities by mapping content to team needs.
• Interacts with communications team to develop a specific communication plan when appropriate.
• Leads supports scheduling and logistics of instructor-led learning delivery opportunities.

Nature and Scope

• Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.Makesdecisionsunderconditionsofuncertainty,sometimeswithincompleteinformation, that produce effective end results.
• Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the expected results. Determinesanddevelopsanapproachtosolutions.Receivestechnicalguidanceonlyon unusual or complex problems or issues.
• May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees' professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority.

Work Environment

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
• Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Education and Experience

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
