CLA is currently seeking a Learning Experience Design Senior This role designs engaging and effective learning solutions for all modalities, including webcasts, eLearnings, in person experiences, videos and more and for a variety of curriculums, ranging from technical content to leadership to power skills and business skills.

This is a hybrid role and can be based out of any of CLA’s 132 locations throughout the country.

How you’ll create opportunities in this this Learning Experience Design Senior role:

Learning Experience Design (LXD)

·Apply instructional design methodologies to create high‑impact digital, blended, and instructor‑led learning experiences.

·Design reusable, modular learning assets using modern authoring tools.

·Embed inclusive and accessible design principles throughout all learning solutions.

·Assess complex learning needs and design learning programs aligned with business goals and learner personas.

·Design end‑to‑end learning journeys that balance creativity, scalability, impact, and equitable access.

·Partner with stakeholders to translate business priorities and learning strategies into learning experiences.

·Conduct learner research, journey mapping, and usability testing to inform design decisions.

·Pilot and iterate learning solutions based on feedback and performance data.

Technology & Innovation

·Leverage innovative learning technologies such as content authoring tools, LMS platforms, AI tools, and emerging technologies to create and deliver content.

·Use data, analytics, and evaluation frameworks to measure learning effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.

Collaboration & Project Leadership

·Serve as a senior contributor on cross‑functional teams, supporting timelines, priorities, and deliverables.

·Provide on-the-job supervision and guidance for less‑experienced designers, including delegation, review, feedback, and support.

·Facilitate meetings with subject matter experts and stakeholders.

What you will need:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in learning experience design, instructional design, or a related field in a corporate or professional services environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • An advanced degree in instructional design, learning sciences, or a related field is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, learning evaluation models, and adult learning principles.

  • Proficiency with content and video authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Synthesia, Vyond, or similar tools).

  • Experience applying UX/UI, accessibility standards, and inclusive design practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to work strategically, manage ambiguity, and influence stakeholders.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires <10% travel.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.

For Illinois, the range is $65,100 to $117,000.

For Minnesota, the range is $65,100 to $113,000.

For Colorado, the range is $73,200 - 118,000.
