The Opportunity

Join the Future Fund Academy team on a 12-month fixed-term contract and help make learning easier for employees to discover, access and navigate across the Agency. Your immediate priorities will be shaping Academy engagement and communications and delivering practical improvements to Workday Learning, reporting and the learner experience. You’ll also manage new-starter orientation, Essential Learning and selected Academy programs. This role suits an experienced learning professional who is curious, resourceful and confident working independently, while communicating openly and contributing to a supportive, collaborative team.

What You’ll Do

• Shape Academy engagement and communications so employees can easily discover, understand and participate in relevant learning opportunities.
• Find and deliver practical improvements to Workday Learning by making better use of existing functionality, streamlining workflows, strengthening data quality and reporting, and improving guidance for learners and administrators.
• Use data, feedback and insights to improve participation, completion, learner experience and program performance.
• Manage new-starter orientation, keeping content and delivery current, relevant and engaging.
• Manage the day-to-day delivery and improvement of Essential Learning, including releases, assignments, communications, completion activity and stakeholder updates.
• Manage selected Academy programs from planning and consultation through to delivery, evaluation and improvement.
• Build productive relationships with leaders, subject matter experts, People, Culture & Inclusion colleagues, and external providers and facilitators.
• Work independently and solve delivery challenges, while keeping colleagues connected through clear communication and involving others when it adds value.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience in learning and capability or learning program delivery and is motivated by the opportunity to make a visible contribution.
• Has shaped learning communications or engagement activities that increased awareness, understanding or participation.
• Brings practical experience with learning management systems; Workday Learning experience is highly regarded.
• Can identify and implement improvements to learning processes, workflows, reporting, data quality or user experience.
• Uses data, feedback and reporting to understand effectiveness and guide practical improvements.
• Is a curious, resourceful problem-solver who can turn ideas and emerging issues into achievable action.
• Works confidently and independently, while communicating clearly, sharing information and contributing positively to a collaborative team.
• Builds trusted relationships and can tailor communication to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.
• Uses sound judgement to know when to act independently, seek input, collaborate or escalate.
• Can manage competing priorities while maintaining momentum, quality and a strong focus on the learner experience.
• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience is desirable.
