
Woodfords Family Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Lead Teacher to join our Early Childhood Services (ECS) team in Westbrook, ME! This is a full-time (40 hours per week), year-round opportunity offering a comprehensive compensation and benefits package and the chance to play a meaningful role in shaping supportive learning environments for young children throughout Maine communities.
The Senior Lead Teacher serves as a key partner in fostering safe, nurturing, and evidence-based learning within Woodfords' preschool. While working closely with the Program Director, this role helps guide inclusive educational programming and offers general operations support for classroom staff.
Responsibilities include supporting new employee training, providing supervision and mentorship to classroom team members, assisting with assessments and educational plan development, and helping ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. The Senior Lead Teacher may also participate in IEP and team meetings, support curriculum implementation, and provide direct classroom support as needed.
