Job Description

Be an integral part of an agile team that's constantly pushing the envelope to enhance, build, and deliver top-notch technology products. You will be a developer for the Mansart fund management business, which has grown rapidly in the past few years, most recently into Asia, with a hub in Japan.

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Mansart fund management business, you will be the local lead developer for the Mansart fund management business, which has grown rapidly in the past few years, most recently into Asia, with a hub in Japan.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage two folds: there is a local desk (Mansart Japan) . you will work with a tight knit team of traders, structurers and technologists to help scale this business.
  • Manage the technology platform, however is global . the successful applicant will collaborate with the London team to ensure that the software that we build remains consistent across the regions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Be experienced with Python, SQL, Java
  • Be a team player, able to communicate well with both fellow technologists and business users.
  • Possess Excellent analytical skills (i.e. problem solving).
  • Possess a solid foundation in computer science and software engineering principles.
  • be a Self-starter with the ability to quickly pick up new ideas, concepts and technologies.
  • Adopte disciplined approach to code management, testing and deployment practices.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience of working in a front office environment within financial services.

• Working Level Japanese proficiency is highly preferred as this role is going to engage with local stakeholders
