Job Description

The candidate will engage with business and digital technology stakeholders to define business value, capability, services and design, develop and deploy the solution. The candidate will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables. As a thought leader in Data, Analytics and AI domains, the candidate will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. The candidate will anchor business pursuit initiatives and in-house capability building. There will be ample opportunity to shape value-adding solutions that enable our business stakeholders to meet the changing needs of the data, analytics and AI use cases.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science - or equivalent in experience
  • Graduate-level desirable
  • Strong experience in SAP Data & Analytics stack (Datasphere / BW/4HANA / BTP, SAC, Fiori and Joule)
  • Expertise in data modelling, ETL/ELT, and data integration
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Data Cloud concepts and architecture
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, data services, and cloud integrations
  • Strong understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake and other cloud platforms
  • Experience with Python and PowerShell preferred.
  • Experience with Splunk and Power BI preferred

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead design and implementation of SAP Datasphere, Business Data Cloud (BDC) solutions for enterprise data and analytics use cases
  • Define and manage data models, data pipelines, and data governance frameworks across SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Drive integration with S/4HANA, BTP, Datasphere, BW, and external data sources
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance standards are met
  • Provide technical leadership, solution architecture guidance, and best practices
  • Define context, metadata and semantic models, set up knowledge graphs; and design and implement primary, derived, standard and customized data products that leverage common data structures (CDS).
  • Establish connections from SAP Datasphere / BDC instance to Mars instances of Databricks and Snowflake to provide a seamless experience across operational, advanced and ad hoc analytics.
  • Build platforms to lower the barriers to entry so more associates can participate, in effect, enabling the adoption of data, analytics and AI services and capabilities.
  • Engage, negotiate and influence internal stakeholders to establish priorities in line with the highest business impact.
  • Ensure the key handoffs and interdependencies between Hub, 3rd party firms and business stakeholders to ensure successful value delivery and ability to scale.
  • Define solutions for Mars business processes with clear articulation of business case and ROI.
  • Identify the capability gaps that are hindering progress and propose solutions to address them.
  • Responsible for operational excellence and service management across data, analytics and AI services and capabilities
  • Collaborate with a large network of teams across the enterprise to ensure coordinated and proactive testing and modification before changes or maintenance activities
  • Manage capacity and utilization of servers and users, establish RBACs, and facilitate access management and credentials to ensure effective data and AI project management.
  • Design, maintain and oversee governance and control processes in collaboration with Security, Controls, Enterprise Architecture, and Identity teams.
  • Training, support and consultation for partners, federated users, and key stakeholders
