About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager to own data strategy and governance across the commercial lending ecosystem, ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and well‑controlled lending data. This role partners across business, technology, risk, and compliance to deliver scalable data solutions and lead complex initiatives from discovery through execution in an Agile, highly regulated environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Focusing on Data Owner responsibilities across the lending ecosystem, including completeness and accuracy of relevant data elements, data quality, data metadata, data dictionary, defect management, implementation, distribution, access, security, data risk & control, tech change requests, metrics and reporting.
  • Epic Refinement/Stakeholder Identification
  • Performing Discovery for assigned Features including hands-on data profiling.
  • Partnering with CB & CIB Lending Enablement product teams, change management, regulatory data teams, risk, controls, compliance, and technology partners.
  • Delivering efficient and scalable solutions that improve user experience and simplify processes.
  • Enhancing data controls to minimize risks and developing solutions that satisfy regulatory requirements.
  • Role requires experience in large transformations in accounting in banking, Agile Development, and commercial loans and lines’ data.
  • Ability to work across multiple lines of business leading large scale digital initiatives and transformations.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Utilize strong influence, negotiation, and communication skills with business and technical partners as well as executive stakeholders to establish/maintain achievable schedules and scope. Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and exhibit agility in navigating from current state to proposed solutions, including driving successful execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise investment optimization and program governance practices at Wells Fargo are strongly desired.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions.
  • Emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of financial services industry experience, either directly within or closely associated with loan booking/accounting/servicing processes, data management, systems implementation and integration, or strategic planning.
  • Expert level of Loan IQ product knowledge and Commercial Lending product and business knowledge
  • 4+ years of working on large-scale initiatives, coordinating across multiple lines of business and technology organizations, preferably with experience in initiatives involving complex data conversions.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced, hands‑on SQL proficiency and experience
  • Strong understanding of data management frameworks, including data ownership, stewardship, lineage, metadata, and data quality controls (accuracy, completeness, validity, timeliness, consistency)
  • Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior management and ability to articulate key messages around risk, issues, customer impacts, etc.
  • Experience with Agile execution structures
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; MBA preferred
  • CoPilot or AI experience a plus

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$139,000.00 - $217,000.00
