About this role:

Wells Fargo Digital Data and AI organization with Consumer banking and Lending is seeking a Senior Lead Mobile App Product Manager to join the Digital Platforms and Experiences - Mobile App Product team. You will partner with business, design, technology, risk, and compliance teams to deliver high quality, customer centered Mobile experiences.


This role requires a self-directed, senior-level Product Manager and leader who can independently drive outcomes, bring structure to complexity, and elevate delivery discipline across teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across a functional area within the Digital environment
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
  • Coordinate highly complex activities and guidance to others
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise
  • Serve as an expert advisor to leadership
  • Focus on the customer experience: Stay connected to customer and business needs.
  • Develop Mobile App Vision & Strategy: Develop feature road maps, and digital customer and banker journeys in partnership with the Line of Business, technology and teams across the Enterprise.
  • Partner with Agile teams to define epics, features and user stories to drive Objectives & Key Results and Key Performance Indicators. Ensure implementations meet Legal, Risk and Compliance requirements. Represent Line of Business needs & priorities within the Digital teams.
  • Collaborate with Digital, Technology, Line of Business, Risk and other partners to support mobile app initiatives and implement digital customer experiences such that customers can quickly, easily, and securely satisfy underwriting and regulatory needs.
  • Lead complex technical and customer facing initiatives with clarity, accountability and impact
  • Understand customers needs, research competitive analysis, conducts customer research, incorporates qualitative and quantitative insights into roadmap and feature decisions
  • Execute and deliver: own outcomes end to end, from discovery through delivery and post-launch measurements. Anticipate risk and dependencies early, proactively managing trade-offs.
  • Lead without authority, demonstrates ownership beyond immediate scope when business needs arise.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ years Mobile app product management experience
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience with digital software product management in the financial services industry
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
  • Ability to create strategy/vision level presentations
  • Lead other members of team and clear roadblocks
  • Technology and Design expertise desired to lead features from vision to implementation
  • Digital software product management in the financial service industry

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$159,000.00 - $305,000.00
