About the role
We
are looking for determined and dedicated Senior Lead Mechanical Engineer and
SME (Subject Matter Expert) to make sure our customers get the best-in-class
mechanical consultancy in their projects ranging from conceptual design and up
until installation and commissioning. It will be considered positive if you
have knowledge of international network e.g. standardization organizations or
committees. Your working days will be many-sided, but one thing is for sure;
you will feel the unity of all our mechanical departments of more than 100
skilled and helpful colleagues supporting you – and you’ll have more than 100
different educational backgrounds throughout the whole organization to draw on.
We are a digital player, using own tools together with large plant systems
enforcing us to create early studies, design solution and specification for our
clients.
We offer an exciting project environment allowing you to keep growing with new
ways of working, e.g. as we use Dalux (AR/XR) to inspect on building sides, or
P&I diagrams to follow the fast-track projects and ensuring the right
mechanical installations.

How you might spend your days
As a
Senior Lead Mechanical Engineer, you'll be:
- Work as
Senior Lead Mechanical Engineer and SME (Subject Matter Experts) Leading
larger project with a group of colleagues preparing engineering tasks.
- Support
and development our Mechanical Engineering System through standardization
on high level including set out technical directions and requirements for
fabrication, installation and testing of mechanical scopes.
- Develop
usage of datasheet, specification and design setup for piping and Tank and
Vessels packages together with our Indian office.
- Support
Tendering and contract team and set directions to identify mechanical
scopes for tender packages.
- Set
directions for installation completion and FAT/SAT activities, provide
technical troubleshooting, and support design specifications and equipment
selection.

What you bring to the role
In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:
- You have at least teen years of experience in mechanical engineering, design aspects of pressurized equipment e.g. tank and vessels, piping installations, and relatable engineering challenges
- Deep knowledge and experience working with the PED pressure equipment directive 2014/68/EU and related standard EN13480 and EN13445.
- You have deep knowledge and competencies within cGMP and experience from the process-, pharmaceutical or life science industry.
- You have in-depth knowledge of CE marking systems.
- You have a degree within mechanical engineering, machinist, or similar technical capabilities that can be used for development, support and specification and the like on construction sites
