Job Summary

This role involves directing the structural and civil engineering aspects of complex industrial projects, with a specific focus on semiconductor manufacturing environments. The position demands advanced expertise in precast concrete systems and long-span structural solutions to ensure the successful delivery of high-performance infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the structural design and construction execution for industrial facilities, prioritizing experience in semiconductor plant delivery.
• Supervise the technical integrity of precast concrete systems to guarantee adherence to rigorous design and build standards.
• Manage the engineering and installation of long-span roof trusses and pipe bridge frameworks.
• Integrate civil engineering components, such as drainage systems, roadworks, and retaining structures, with the primary building design.
• Develop precise civil and structural specifications that align with tender documentation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with international standards like Eurocode and IBC, as well as local Singapore codes of practice.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to meet project objectives.
• Travel internationally as needed to engage with clients and present project progress to regional stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least eight years of professional experience in building design and construction, with a preference for industrial sector backgrounds.
• Proven expertise in the design and construction methodologies for precast concrete works.
• Strong technical knowledge of long-span roof truss and pipe bridge design and implementation.
• Comprehensive understanding of civil works, including drainage, road infrastructure, and earth retaining structures.
• Experience in preparing civil and structural specifications for tender packages.
• Familiarity with international standards (Eurocode/IBC) and Singapore’s codes of practice.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
