About this role:

The COO Technology group delivers technology solutions for the Chief Operating Office, supporting operations, control executives, strategic execution, business continuity, resiliency, data services, regulatory relations, customer experience, enterprise shared services, supply chain management, and corporate properties. Our mission is to modernize and optimize technology platforms for these critical functions.

Within COO Technology we are seeking a Senior Lead Data Specialist (Senior Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant) who will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of data products, including planning, development coordination, release execution, and lifecycle management. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, data engineering, and platform teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of data capabilities and will be responsible for leading a broad portfolio of risk, governance, Agile product management, and release management activities, ensuring disciplined execution and alignment with enterprise standards.


In this role, you will:

  • Own delivery of data products from intake through release and post-production support
  • Define and manage product backlogs, priorities, and delivery roadmaps for data initiatives
  • Coordinate across data engineering, analytics, architecture, and business teams
  • Drive sprint planning, release planning, and execution tracking
  • Ensure data products meet quality, governance, and compliance standards
  • Manage release cycles including testing, validation, deployment, and rollback strategies
  • Monitor delivery progress, risks, and dependencies, escalate when needed
  • Establish and track KPIs for data product adoption, performance, and quality
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into data product requirements
  • Support continuous improvement in delivery processes, tooling, and agile practices
  • Lead complex and unique initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams
  • Act as an advisory to senior leadership, with strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives
  • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Make decisions regularly for highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for highly complex business problems
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to individuals at all levels and provide advice to senior leadership on highly complex and strategic issues
  • Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 7+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams and complex dependencies without direct reporting line
  • 5+ years of experience in technology delivery, data products, or data engineering programs
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile, Scrum, and release management practices
  • 4+ years of experience with data Cloud platforms, data pipelines, and analytics ecosystems

  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and regulatory expectations

Job Expectations:

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$139,000.00 - $260,000.00
