Working closely with executive leaders, academic and professional staff, and technology specialists, you will play a key role in shaping UniSC’s future analytics ecosystem and advancing organisational data maturity.

You will

  • lead and develop specialist teams of data engineers, developers, and business intelligence professionals while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement; and
  • evaluate and leverage emerging technologies, including AI and automation, to enhance analytics capability and organisational outcomes.

About you

You are an accomplished data and analytics leader who combines strategic vision with strong technical expertise. You have successfully led enterprise data and analytics transformations and understand how modern data platforms, analytics environments, and governance frameworks work together to create organisational value.

You are equally comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders on strategic priorities as you are leading technical teams through complex data and analytics initiatives. You enjoy building capability, influencing change, and creating sustainable solutions that improve organisational performance.

Most importantly, you bring a collaborative leadership style, a commitment to innovation, and a passion for helping organisations realise the full value of their data assets.

You will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience leading the strategic uplift and optimisation of enterprise data platforms, and analytics environments.
  • Proven capability delivering scalable analytics solutions, dashboards, reporting environments, and self-service analytics capability that support organisational decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary data governance, privacy, information management, and trusted data practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, with experience working effectively at executive level.
  • A track record of leading organisational change, innovation, and capability uplift in data-driven environments.
  • An understanding of emerging trends in AI, automation, and advanced analytics, and their application within enterprise environments.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications or an equivalent combination of extensive experience, knowledge, and leadership capability.
