
The Opportunity
Data and information are critical strategic assets that underpin informed decision-making, institutional performance, compliance, and long-term sustainability at UniSC.
Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, the Senior Lead, Data Analytics is a senior leadership role within the Insights and Analytics Unit (IAU), responsible for leading the strategic and technical evolution of UniSC’s enterprise data and analytics capability. This role will drive the continuous enhancement of enterprise data platforms, analytics environments, and modern data practices to maximise the value of institutional data assets and strengthen evidence-informed decision-making across the University.
You will provide leadership across enterprise data warehousing, analytics, business intelligence, data integration, and modern cloud-based analytics platforms, while fostering an insight-driven culture that enables better strategic and operational outcomes.
Working closely with executive leaders, academic and professional staff, and technology specialists, you will play a key role in shaping UniSC’s future analytics ecosystem and advancing organisational data maturity.

You are an accomplished data and analytics leader who combines strategic vision with strong technical expertise. You have successfully led enterprise data and analytics transformations and understand how modern data platforms, analytics environments, and governance frameworks work together to create organisational value.
You are equally comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders on strategic priorities as you are leading technical teams through complex data and analytics initiatives. You enjoy building capability, influencing change, and creating sustainable solutions that improve organisational performance.
Most importantly, you bring a collaborative leadership style, a commitment to innovation, and a passion for helping organisations realise the full value of their data assets.
