You will be a critical AQA Engineer ensuring the quality and reliability of our entire product ecosystem, spanning both robust backend systems and cutting-edge front-end mobile applications.

Project description

Utilizing your expertise in Java, Appium, and Cucumber, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive automated tests to identify issues, ensure functionality, and validate the user experience across our product suite. This role requires solving complex challenges using the latest lean and agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience as an AQA Engineer, specializing in native mobile and web services testing
• Proficiency in Java and core automation frameworks (Appium, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG/JUnit)
• Deep comprehension of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Proven ability in problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail, complemented by strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proven ability to thrive in an agile development environment
• A holistic and systemic approach to solving complex engineering challenges
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and empathy
• Working hours: Early start (around 07:00–07:30 EET) with a flexible afternoon schedule

Nice to have skills

• Proficiency in secondary scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for enhanced tooling
• Exposure to a wider range of testing and automation tools beyond the core stack
• Working knowledge of mobile user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) standards

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies encompassing functional, performance, and security testing
• Execute test analysis, accurately document defects, and collaborate directly with developers for rapid resolution
• Design, build, and maintain the automation framework to enhance test coverage and efficiency for new features
• Collaborate with others to invent, implement, and deploy new systems and improvements to existing systems
• Continuously research and apply the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices to advance the QA process
• Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with the other team
