Senior Landscape Architect (With several years’ experience working in Sweden)

Do you want to play a leading role in shaping sustainable, high-quality landscapes across Sweden and the Nordic region?

Henning Larsen is strengthening its landscape architecture practice and is now looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to join our studio in Stockholm or Copenhagen. We are seeking an experienced professional who can lead landscape projects from early vision to detailed implementation, in close collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, developers, and contractors.

As our portfolio in Sweden continues to grow, we are looking for a senior landscape architect who can take responsibility for complex projects, ensure design excellence across all stages, and contribute strategically to the development of our landscape discipline within Henning Larsen.

What will you do?

As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will work across a wide range of public and private projects, including urban development, public space, housing, mixed-use, and cultural projects. Your role will include:

• Leading landscape projects from early-stage concepts and competition entries through detailed design and construction phases
• Developing strong, site-specific landscape concepts rooted in sustainability, ecology, and placemaking
• Coordinating and collaborating closely with architects, engineers, developers, and contractors
• Producing and coordinating detailed landscape drawings, models, and BIM documentation for Swedish projects
• Ensuring high design quality, constructability, and alignment with project budgets and schedules
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the studio’s professional culture
• Participating in early design sketches, competitions, parallel assignments, and strategic landscape studies in Sweden and the Nordics

What are we looking for?

We believe you have:

• A degree in Landscape Architecture (Master’s or equivalent)
• Several years of professional experience with landscape projects in Sweden
• Proven experience across all project phases, from early design to construction detailing
• Strong skills in 2D and 3D design workflows
• Advanced proficiency in Rhino and Revit (BIM)
• Ability to produce and coordinate landscape drawings, models, and BIM-based documentation
• Strong knowledge of Swedish planning processes, regulations, and industry standards
• Experience collaborating with developers and contractors in later project stages
• Strong design skills combined with a pragmatic understanding of implementation
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
