Job Description

We help thousands of businesses kick admin, accounting and bookkeeping out of their day-to-day, so they can spend more time on what's important to them. We've developed a unique solution that combines SaaS with a human-in-the-loop approach to provide full-fledged services in real-time.

We’re experiencing rapid growth in both client base and team, which now comprises around 500 people across our offices worldwide. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for more bright minds who are excited to make a real impact by solving complex problems.

What to expect:

1. KYC Case Management and Risk Assessment

  • Conduct comprehensive KYC and due diligence reviews for new and existing clients.

  • Review and assess complex ownership structures, multi-layered corporate entities, trusts, nominee arrangements and investment holding structures.

  • Perform risk assessments considering:

    • Ownership structures

    • Source of wealth and source of funds

    • Country and jurisdictional risk

    • Industry and business activities

    • PEP and sanctions exposure

  • Ensure KYC reviews are completed in accordance with internal AML/CFT policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

2. Complex and High-Risk Case Ownership

  • Act as the primary reviewer for high-risk and complex KYC cases.

  • Partner with Compliance on escalated matters and remediation activities.

  • Support investigations and information gathering where additional diligence is required.

3. Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence

  • Support quality reviews and identify recurring gaps in KYC assessments.

  • Identify trends, root causes and opportunities for process improvements.

  • Promote strong attention to detail and adherence to internal controls.

  • Support remediation projects and periodic KYC reviews.

4. Subject Matter Expertise and Knowledge Sharing

  • Assist the lead in developing and maintaining:

    • SOPs

    • Training materials

    • Knowledge base articles

    • Process guides and checklists

  • Support onboarding and training of new hires.

  • Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry best practices.

5. Stakeholder and Client Management

  • Engage directly with clients to obtain outstanding information and clarify complex ownership structures.

  • Work closely with different teams to manage the workflow.

  • Manage client expectations while ensuring regulatory obligations are met.

  • Drive timely resolution of KYC-related matters and escalations.

6. Process Improvement and System Enhancement

  • Support testing and implementation of KYC-related tools and workflow enhancements.

  • Provide feedback on automation opportunities and process efficiencies.

  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving quality, productivity and client experience.

Who you are:

  • 3 - 4 years experience in KYC/AML and client onboarding; familiarity with the industry or sector in which the company operates is a plus.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and KYC procedures in Singapore.

  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with KYC tools, onboarding platforms is an advantage.
