Job Description

We are looking for a driven and strategic Senior Key Account Manager (National Key Accounts) to lead and grow our national key accounts portfolio. In this role, you will build strong customer partnerships, drive commercial performance, and unlock new growth opportunities across major retail channels.

What you’ll be doing

Drive key account growth & business performance

  • Manage and grow assigned national key accounts to achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term business plans aligned with company objectives
  • Identify opportunities to expand business, introduce new products, and increase market share

Build strategic customer partnerships

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, buyers, and business partners
  • Conduct regular business reviews to understand customer needs, market trends, and shopper behaviour
  • Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and joint business planning to maximise mutual value

Deliver commercial & in-store execution excellence

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Channel teams to implement impactful trade programmes and promotions
  • Ensure effective in-store visibility, activations, and execution across key accounts
  • Monitor competitor activities and adapt strategies to stay ahead in the market

Strengthen financial & operational performance

  • Manage account budgets, ensuring efficient spend and strong ROI
  • Analyse sales performance, forecasting, and account profitability
  • Ensure smooth rollout of sales and operational activities across accounts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5–7 years of key account management experience, preferably in FMCG
  • Strong understanding of account profitability, budgeting, and financial management
  • Proven experience in managing major retail/key accounts
