As Key Account Manager, you’ll join our Business Development team in Amsterdam and play an important role in strengthening and expanding customer partnerships across the Netherlands.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across Sales, Portfolio Management and Operations while managing relationships with pharmacies and wholesalers.
In this role, you will combine relationship management, commercial responsibility and market insights to create value for both customers and the business.
Drive the execution of the Dutch tactical sales plan and contribute to achieving annual sales targets
Develop and implement account plans tailored to customer needs and market opportunities
Drive commercial activities and sales performance across assigned accounts
Build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities
Use market insights and data to support commercial decisions and business development initiatives
Conduct client, market and competitor analysis
Stay up to date on relevant market trends and developments
Initiate communication and networking activities with customers and stakeholders
Represent Abacus Medicine at congresses, exhibitions and industry events
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Portfolio Management and Operations
2–5 years of relevant experience in Sales, Key Account Management or Business Development
Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
Existing network within pharmacies or wholesalers is an advantage
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Commercial mindset with good negotiation skills
Analytical and structured way of working
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
Proactive, hands-on and team-oriented mindset
Fluent in Dutch and English
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
