PwC Luxembourg is hiring aSenior JP Accounting and Reporting Consultant(m/f/d). What if itwasyou?

Your mission:  As an experienced consultant in our Finance Advisory & Transformation practice, you'llbe at the forefront of our Finance Advisory practice’s development and implementation strategy. You will play a critical role in delivering to ourclientsprojects in FinancialAccountingandReportingdomains.

Leveraging your experience as an auditor or accountingofficerof a Financial Sector organisation, strong project management skills, and finance analysis background, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams toprovidevaluable business insights and deliver effectiveservicesto our clients.

You will helpthem modernize their finance functionsand processesbyevaluating emerging technologies, designing AIenabled use cases, and supporting implementation roadmaps.

Alongside client work, you will contribute to proposal development, internal thought leadership, and team knowledgebuilding.

Be a part of our team where you will:

  • Assistour clients withrun projects and business continuity
  • Periodicaccounting closing by preparing booking entries or by reviewing the booking entries in the accounting system;
  • Controls performed when working onthe periodicaccounting closing;
  • Ad hoc accounting production analysis;
  • Preparation of day-to-day deliverables including financial statements and any other financial reporting such as cash reports to the mandators.
  • Providestrategic guidance to clients,assistingand opening with accounting analysis to ensure compliance;
  • Support and contribute to transformative projectsanalysing clients' existing processes and systems,identifyareas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to address business challenges;
  • Design and implement solutions tailored to meet clients' financial planning, budgeting, and reporting requirements;
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients,maintainingstrong relationships and effectively managing clientexpectations throughout the project lifecycle. For example, report results on aregularbasis summarising the tasks to be performed and the status of such tasks, developing andmaintainingdetailed project plans, resource allocation, and timelines;
  • Oversee project risk assessment and mitigation strategies, ensuring potential roadblocks areidentifiedand addressed proactively;
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in ERP,reportingand consolidation systemsequivalent

Let’s talk about you. If you…

  • Have abachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field with a relevantMaster'sdegree;
  • Bring min. 4 years of hands-on experience inFinancialreporting and/or accounting in the financial sectorA priorAuditor experience isconsidered asan asset;
  • Have extensive experience and be familiar with accounting standardssuch as European Accounting Directive (“EU GAAP”) & IFRS, with any other GAAP considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of recognised accounting system such asOracle PeopleSoft will be considered as a significant advantage;
  • Possess solid knowledge of finance processes, accounting standards, financialreportingand accounting schemes related to financial instruments;
  • Are advanced in ExcelandFinancialmodellingtools;
  • Areproficient with Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, PowerBI, Outlook) and comfortable with Copilot/AI enhancedfeatures;
  • Have an analytical and structured mindset, strongproblem solvingskills, and a proactive approach to clientchallenges;
  • Hold or are pursuing relevant certifications such as CFA, FPA, FPAC, CMA, FMVA, AFM, CFM, MFM, CFMP, ACCA/ACA (valued);
  • Are fluent in English and French.
