This position requires advanced understanding of construction documents, building systems, consultant coordination, and building code application. The Senior Job Captain is expected to provide a higher level of technical leadership, including code-based planning and detailing, constructability review, responses to jurisdictional comments, and mentoring of Job Captains and junior production staff.

· Oversee and perform QA/QC reviews of plans, details, schedules, consultant backgrounds, and permit sets prior to issuance.

· Coordinate internal staff and consultants to ensure accurate integration of architectural, structural, MEP, vendor, and landlord requirements into the document set.

· Identify project-specific production needs, establish drawing priorities, and manage production trackers to support scheduled deliverables.

· Work in conjunction with the Project Manager/Director to manage deliverables for multiple projects and programs.

· Provide direct oversight, direction, and mentoring to Job Captains and junior team members.

· Develop details, plan solutions, and drawing strategies with limited direction.

· Review design evolution for code compliance, constructability, and completeness as the project progresses.

· Lead or support responses to jurisdictional corrections, plan review comments, and agency comments.

· Assist in identifying additional services, scope impacts, staffing needs, schedule risks, and production challenges.

· Support template updates, drafting standards, design/production procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Coordinate with vendors and consultants to obtain specifications, installation requirements, and technical information needed to complete the drawings.

· Assist with project budgets, billings, schedules, and internal resource planning as requested by project leadership.

· Present a professional image as a representative of the company.

· Ability to mentor others, delegate effectively, and drive accountability within the production team.
