Job Title: Senior Java/Kotlin Developer (AI & Conversational Platforms)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer (Java/Kotlin) to join our team in Amsterdam. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for AI-driven innovation

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Kotlin
• 
  Contribute to architecture decisions and implement robust, enterprise-grade solutions
• 
  Build and enhance AI-driven conversational platforms and services
• 
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• 
  Drive innovation initiatives, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team
• 
  Ensure high-quality code through best practices, testing, and code reviews
• 
  Work within cloud-native environments, primarily on Azure
• 
  Inspire both technical teams and business stakeholders with forward-looking solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  8–10 years of hands-on development experience
• 
  Strong expertise in Java and Kotlin
• 
  Deep understanding of Java architecture and advanced Java concepts
• 
  Proven experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• 
  Experience working on Azure Cloud
• 
  Solid understanding of software design principles and scalable system design
• 
  Strong communication skills in English
• 
  Proactive mindset with a strong learning attitude and innovation spirit

Nice to Have

• 
  Experience in AI/ML or conversational platforms
• 
  Exposure to agentic AI systems or chatbot frameworks
• 
  Background as a Senior Java Developer in enterprise environments
