Job Description


Company Overview:

iScale Solutions specializes in providing top-tier software engineering talent to clients worldwide. We are currently seeking Senior Java Software Engineers for a banking/fin-tech project, which serves as a convenient and accessible financial solution for a wide range of users, including those who may not have access to traditional banking services.

The selected engineers will work as part of our team in Vietnam, with a close bond with the APAC regional team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes to develop software solutions.

  • Assess operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

  • Enhance operations by conducting systems analysis and reviews, and recommending changes in implementation and/or procedures.

  • Develop and maintain unit tests for both new and existing testable classes.

  • Stay updated on the latest development tools, programming techniques, and advancements in computing equipment to improve job knowledge continually.


Requirements


  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience working on Java projects with leading experience will be a huge plus.

  • Being able to communicate in English is a must.

  • Proficient in Java, preferably version 1.8, and SQL with a solid background.

  • Mandatory experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and React JS.

  • Demonstrated DevOps mindset and practical experience.

  • Exceptional analytical, deductive, and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Strong track record in writing comprehensive unit tests.

  • Exposure to additional technologies such as containerization and designing reliable systems is advantageous.
