Job Description

Your role is to develop software applications according to the business needs being involved in all phases of SDLC based on the Agile framework.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, develop and implement projects or features of large-scale projects, as part of the development team

• Develop solutions to improve performance and scalability of systems

• Assisting in Production issues

• Share knowledge about your area of expertise, best practices and provide functional support

What we are looking for:

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Java technologies, with expertise in Backend design & development

Backend:

• Java Standard Edition (for legacy apps: 5-8; for evolutions: 17 or newer)

• Spring Boot

• Relational database: Oracle DB / PostgreSQL

• Web services: REST API

• Design patterns, SOLID principles

• Hexagonal architecture

• Spring Batch

• Microservices

• Unit & integration testing

Others:

• Quality gate: SonarQube

• Tools: Postman, SoapUI, Bruno

• Linux: Basic knowledge (regular user & root)

• Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud native concepts

• Agile (Scrum, SAFE)

Although not required, would be considered a plus if you have knowledge about:

• API testing (Karate)
• Frontend: React/Angular/JSP
• SOAP API
• Autosys (for Batches)

We are also interested in:

• Language skills:

• French – Able to communicate effectively in conversations (verbal, writing), also to understand documentation ( main communication language inside the team)
• English – Able to communicate effectively in conversations and understand technical documentation
