Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with at least 7 years of experience to support the modernization of existing Java applications. You will play a key role in migrating applications from GlassFish 2/3/4 to Payara 5, while ensuring stability, performance, and compatibility across the application landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Migrate and modernize Java applications from GlassFish to Payara 5.
• 
  Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise Java applications.
• 
  Work with Java, Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate, Gradle, and GWT.
• 
  Develop and optimize solutions using DB2 and PostgreSQL databases.
• 
  Perform application testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• 
  Collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• 
  Minimum 7 years of Java development experience
• 
  Strong experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Gradle, and GWT
• 
  Knowledge of DB2 and PostgreSQL
• 
  Experience with GlassFish and Payara application servers.
• 
  Experience with application migration and modernization projects.
• 
  Experience within the social security sector is an advantage.

  French: Professional working proficiency.
• 
  Dutch: Passive knowledge.
• 
  English: Passive knowledge.
