Baltic Shared Services Center is now looking for a new colleague to join Common IT Engineering team as a Senior Java developer.
About the role:
We are a backend team at Tele2 group delivering critical services for the organization. For example, we process all real-time payments and digital signings, process most of the company’s refill sales (data and voice), update our customers profiles whenever they change. In short, we are a backend team that has a lot of different responsibilities. This is a centralized provisioning platform for multi brands and multi countries.

This role is meant for You, if You:
- are an experienced Java Developer with approximately 7 years of relevant experience building robust, scalable systems, and mastering ownership of complex cross-functional deliveries;
- possess a proven ability to take significant ownership of complex cross-functional deliveries;
- demonstrated interest and hands-on experience in applying AI and automation tools to optimize workflows, enhance engineering productivity, or improve business outcomes;
- understand the big picture and willing to learn, ready to walk the extra mile to ensure a high-quality product;
- Are open, proactive and are not afraid to take your own initiative;
- have excellent collaboration and communication skills in English;
- have solid experience with:

Your main responsibilities will be:
- design, develop, and maintain backend solutions that power our sales processes and streamline order fulfilment. This involves leading strategic projects, ensuring stability, and optimizing performance across the entire software development lifecycle. Your work will have a direct and measurable impact on our business;
- drive technical initiatives and design with a strong focus on quality and performance;
- thrive in an agile environment where the team shares responsibility;
- be driven by curiosity, staying updated with the latest Java ecosystem trends;
- proactively monitor and improve service performance.
Salary: 4000 EUR – 5000 EUR (gross)
