As a Senior Java Developer reporting to Director – Software Engineering, you'll take end-to-end ownership of meaningful technical challenges — from understanding requirements to shipping production-ready solutions. You'll work across backend systems, security, and cross-platform development, contributing to both new builds and the evolution of existing products.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions that meet or exceed product and client requirements
Build and maintain security-focused applications of increasing scope and complexity
Extend and improve existing systems — adding functionality, enhancing performance, and adapting to new environments
Ensure cross-platform compatibility across all deliverables
Monitor system improvements post-deployment and iterate based on performance outcomes
Contribute to architecture, database design, and technical direction as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
At least 6 years strong, hands-on Java development skills with a solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases — including design, analysis, and querying
roven experience with continuous integration and deployment practicesDemonstrated ability to write secure, testable, and maintainable code
Experience with cross-platform or multi-environment development
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience with data warehousing or large-scale data systems
Background or interest in application security best practices
This position will be located in Sydney, Australia and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 2 days a week in-office (may increase to 3 days in the future).
This is a permanent, full-time role so candidates should have full working rights in Australia. To be eligible to apply, you must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency status
